Account Deletion

Last updated: October 6th, 2026 This account deletion policy explains you how account deletion works on Sangat App, how your data is deleted, and what data is deleted. By using the Sangat App, You agree to the communication of information and the procedure in accordance with this Account Deletion Policy.

Purpose

This Account Deletion Policy describes the process, implications, and consequences of requesting deletion of a user account on the Sangat mobile application and associated services - collectively referred to as the "Sangat App".

Initiating Account Deletion

1. A user may initiate an account deletion request by navigating to Account Settings within the Sangat App. 2. The option to delete the account will be clearly displayed under the account management section. 3. Account deletion can only be initiated by the account holder.

User Consent And Acknowledgement

Upon selecting the Delete Account option, the user will be presented with a confirmation notice. This notice will inform the user that: 1. All personal data associated with the account will be permanently deleted within 30 days of confirmation. 2. The deletion process is irreversible. 3. By confirming the deletion request, the user expressly acknowledges and agrees to the terms stated in this policy.

Data Deletion Process

Following confirmation, the account will be marked for deletion. All user data, including but not limited to profile information, activity data, preferences, and associated records, will be permanently deleted from Sangat systems within 30 days. Sangat does not retain any recoverable copy of the deleted data after this period, except where retention is required to comply with applicable laws or regulatory obligations.

Irreversibility Of Deletion

Once the account deletion process is completed, the account cannot be restored or reactivated. Sangat is not responsible for any loss of data resulting from account deletion initiated by the user. There is no option to cancel or reverse the deletion request after confirmation.

Re-registration After Deletion

Users who wish to use the Sangat App again after account deletion must create a new account. The previously used Sangat Handle Name may not be available for reuse if it has been claimed by another user. Sangat does not guarantee the availability of any previously used username, handle, or account identifier.

Acceptance Of Policy

By initiating and confirming an account deletion request, the user confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this Account Deletion Policy in full.
